It includes:

  • Pieces of meat, if seasoned then make sure to rinse off any flavoring
  • Potatoes
  • Vegetables; (except Onions)
  • Fruits; (except grapes or raisins)

How to make:

Cut all ingredients into half inch thick pieces and spray them lightly with the cooking spray. Now, place them in a food dehydrator, if you do not have any food dehydrator then put them into a 200 degree preheated oven, until they dried.

  • Vanilla Yogurt (32 ounces)
  • A cup of peanut butter

How to make:

First of all, melt the peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl. Combine this melted peanut butter with the vanilla yogurt. Now, pour this tasty mixture of vanilla and peanut butter into a cupcake papers.

Place it in the freezer, until it got cool and hard. After that, present this tasty cake to your dogs, and let them enjoy the meal. I am sure they will like it too.

It includes:

  • Regular wheat flour 2 ½ cups, use oat flour or any other substitution if your dog is sensitive to wheat.
  • Salt
  • An egg
  • 1 teaspoon of beef or chicken bouillon granules
  • Half cup of hot water
  • Bacon or chicken broth, eggs, oats, liver powder, wheat, shredded cheese and bacon bits.

How to make:

Preheat the oven up to 350 degrees. Dissolve the bouillon in the hot water and add remaining ingredients. Knead the dough until it forms a ball, it takes approximately 3 minutes. Roll dough to make it half inch thick.

You can cut into slices or other shapes, which you may like. Dogs like bones, so you may cut them into bone shapes. Place these pieces on cookie sheet and cook for 30 minutes.

It includes:

  • Half cup canned pumpkin
  • Molasses (4 tablespoon)
  • Water (4 tablespoon)
  • Vegetable oil (2 tablespoon)
  • Whole wheat flour (2 cups)
  • Baking Soda (1/4 tablespoon)
  • Baking powder (1/4 tablespoon)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

How to make:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix pumpkin, molasses, vegetable oil and water together, in a bowl. Add the wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon to the mixture and stir the mixture until the dough will softens.

Wet your hands a bit and make balls from the dough. Set the balls on a cookie sheet and flatten with the fork. Bake them approximately 5 minutes until the dough is hardened.

It includes:

  • Water (23/4 cups)
  • Unsweetened Apple sauce (1/4 cup)
  • Honey (2 tablespoon)
  • Vanilla Extract (1/8 tablespoon)
  • A medium sized egg
  • Whole wheat flour (4 cups)
  • Unsweetened dried apple chips (1 cup)
  • Baking Powder (1 tablespoon)

How to make:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix the water, apple sauce, honey, egg and vanilla together in a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients with it and mix it until well blended.

Now pour this mixture slightly to the lightly greased muffin pans. Put the mixture in the oven and bake it up to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Your dog will be undoubtedly happy about this yummy cake.

6. Peanut Butter Cookies

Everybody likes peanut butter, even dogs too. Here is the recipe of peanut butter Cookies.

It includes:

  • White or wheat flour, if your dog has wheat allergies then other substitute also used. (2 cups)
  • Rolled oats (1 cup)
  • Smooth peanut butter (1/3 cup)
  • Honey (1 tablespoon)
  • Fish oil (half tablespoon)
  • Water ( one and half cup)

How to make:

Preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit. Mix the flour and oats together in a large mixing bowl and blend it along with one cup of water, until it turns into a smooth paste. Add peanut butter, honey and the fish oil and mix it until it will well blended. Add the water slowly to make it thick and doughy.

Roll the dough onto the cooking surface to create a 1/4 inch thick sheet. Now cut the sheet into cookie shapes and bake the cookies for 40 minutes.

7. Chicken Jerky

Chicken is a good source of protein; it will help in the development of your dog’s muscles. Its chewy structure also makes the dog occupied for a while.

  • 2 to 4 chicken breasts

How to make:

Preheat the oven to 200 degree Fahrenheit. Remove the excess fat from the chicken. Slice the chicken breast into 1/8 inch thick strips using the paring knife. Set these strips on a baking sheet and bake it for 2 hours.

Before removing it from oven, check the chicken, it should be dry and hard, not soft and chewy. Before serving, allow the chicken to cool completely. Store this jerky in an air tight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.

8. Fruit and vegetable strips

It includes:

  • Sweet Potato (1 small)
  • Medium banana
  • Minced carrots (1 cup)
  • Unsweetened organic applesauce (half cup)
  • Whole wheat flour or white flour (2 cups)
  • Rolled oats (1 cup)
  • Water (1/3 cups)

How to make:

Cook the sweet potatoes in the microwave for 8 to 10 minutes, until the insides are soft. Set them aside and allow them to cool. Preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit. Mash the banana and sweet potato with a hand masher until smooth. Add carrots, flour and oats in it.

Add the applesauce and water while mixing it. The ingredients will form dough. Roll the dough to 1/8 inch thick. Cut it into strips and bake for 25 minutes.
