Dogs are man’s best friend. Although different people keep them for different reasons, there are many different breeds. The following is a breed of the most beautiful breeds in the world.
1. Pomeranian
One of the most beautiful and impressive dogs in the world is Pomeranian. It is a small dog breed originally bred as a large sled dog. In the 19 century it was reduced to small size through the breeding. Many people call this breed “poms”. It has a height of 7-12 inches and weighs between 1.3-3.3 kg. You can find this breed in many colors that include sable, brown, orange, red, black, cream and blue. It has an original and distinctive appearance due to its outer coat which is dense, straight and coarse.
Especially its neck is very unique and leaves a great impact on people. Pomeranian is very active and meanwhile intelligent and if you are single it can be your best companion.
2. Siberian Husky
Siberian Husky is a medium size working dog breed known for its thickly furred double coat, distinctive markings and triangular ears. The common nicknames include 'Husky' and 'Sibe'. This breed has a life span of 12-14 years. The Siberian Husky weighs between 20-27 kg (male) and 16-23 kg (female). They come in all colors from black to white along with brown/red color. Dogs' behaviors can be trained away but Siberian's passions of digging and running is dominant.
The Siberian has a strong prey drive and cannot live with cats and other small mammals.
This dog breed has a warm heart and if you want to keep him just to protect your house, then you should understand that it is not the breed for that as it cannot scare people with its loving heart.
3. Golden Retriever
Golden Retriever is a very large-sized dog breed. This breed can live up to 12 years and has a variety of temperaments including reliable, confident, trustworthy, intelligent and friendly. Golden Retriever has different colors, such as dark golden, gold and light golden without any markings. Males are bigger than the females and they weigh more. They also have a special head shape which is very impressive. Last but not least, their activity level is moderate to high. The dog is loyal to its family and enjoys every time playing games and socializing with people. It also loves children and other animals.

4.Beagle
The Beagle is a breed of small-sized hound bred for scent and it's primary activity is hunting hare. Males are almost always larger than females making breeding a bit tricky, as the best pairing is a larger females and a smaller male dog. While it is extremely friendly and an absolutely wonderful family pet, owners should be careful when a Beagle is around other small pets because of it's hunting instinct may take over. The Beagle has well-proportioned body with big brown eyes and long ears which fold over.
This dog has a gentle manner but being that it is a hound, they will howl and bark quite frequently. One special requirement for Beagles is that they require substantial exercise daily.
Beagles are two varieties, the 13 inch and the 15 inch at the shoulder. Depending on height, they weigh between 18-30 pounds.
5. Akita Inu
The roots of Akita Inu come from the northern parts of Japan. This dog breed has 2 varieties: the Japanese strain and the American strain. It weighs up to 41 kg and has a height of about 23-27 inches. The life span of this breed is not more than 10 years. It is also known as the Japanese strain. Akita Inu is a great companion, but it is not so easy to train it. The training process can be quite challenging as this dog has a very strong will. Akita Inu can also find many difficulties to get along with other pets.
In general it doesn’t bark so much and keep the house clean, so you don’t need to worry about his behavior at home. This dog breed is very intelligent and loyal to its owners, but sometime it can also be aggressive.
6. Chow Chow
Chow Chow is a dog breed that once has been seen, will never be forgotten. It’s due to its beautiful lion-like look and cute appearance. The life span of this breed is 9-15 years and its roots come from China. Males have 19-22 inches height, females 18-20 inches. Its tongue is also very unique that comes in blue-black color. This dog has a large dog and incredible fur that some people even compare it with a bear or a lion. Chow Chow is not such an active dog. It is lazy and wants to sit most of the time.
It doesn’t bark so much and gets along with its owner very easily. Its face is just wonderful to look at. You always want to hug it and feel its warmness in your arms.
7. Icelandic sheepdog
The Icelandic sheepdog was brought to Iceland by Vikings. It weighs up to 40 Ibs and has a lifespan of 12-15 years. It has a happy character and is very playful. The Icelandic sheepdog has a very intelligent expression and its most attractive features are its pointed muzzle and a curled tail. The flat cheeks and the black nose are also distinctive features of this dog breed. The color of its eyes is dark brown and it has black eye rims. You can find the Icelandic sheepdog short-haired or long-haired, but some parts of its body like the head and the ears come with shorter hair.
It has a short and bushy tail. The neck and chest of the Icelandic sheepdog are covered with long hair.
8. Miniature Schnauzer
This dog is very small but it is one of the most beautiful dog breeds known for its whiskers and coat, which has 2 layers. The soft coat is hidden under the outer hard coat which makes this dog even cuter. Its coat may be in different colors such as silver, white, black etc. In the US and Europe it is very popular to have a miniature schnauzer, but never forget that this dog is a German breed. It is so playful that can get along with everybody.
Its bushy eyebrows, long fur and beard make each person to cuddle with it and give unlimited kisses. The owners of this dog often comb its hair to keep its good condition. It weighs up to 7 kg and has a height of about 12-14 inches.
9. Alaskan Malamute
Alaskan Malamute is a very old dog breed in the world. It is very beautiful and many people adopt them as a pet. Due to its thick and colorful coat it make a great impact on people and everybody loves this dog breed from the first meeting. Besides, it is a very large and powerful dog that is originally bred to weight-pulling. It has different colors including sable, black and white, light gray, red and white etc. On its face and neck you can find very pretty markings.
As Chow Chow has a lion like appearance, Alaskan Malamute itself has a wolf like appearance due to its colorful and thick coat. This dog breed has 25 inches high and weighs up to 40 kg. it gets along with other pets very easily.
10. Bernese Mountain Dog
This dog comes from Switzerland and it is very large and beautiful. Its coat has three colors and its chest is black and white. The mouth, front legs and eyes of Bernese mountain dog have colored markings. Its ears have a triangular shape and it has a bushy tail carried below. As its coat is very thick it helps Bernese mountain dog to be prevented from the weather threats. This dog has 24-28 inches and weighs up to 50 kg. You can train this breed very easily as it is very intelligent and learns everything very quickly.
Originally Bernese mountain dogs have developed as farm dogs to protect the cattle. Besides, this dog breed is very loyal to its owners and it likes to follow you wherever you go.
11. Bulldog
This dog likes to follow its owner wherever he goes and likes to sleep with him or nest to the bed. Besides, it is very stubborn and likes everything to be quiet around it. Being very silent it barks only when it is necessary. Whenever you adopt this dog breed as a pet you will become sure that you won’t hear any barking for many days. Bulldogs get along with everybody and other pets very easily. They remain loyal to their owners and build a very strong bond with them. But they demand love and much attention, as well.
Bulldogs like to be around people and they can’t stand being alone for a long period of time. Al in all, they are great companions for you and they are ready to love you from the bottom of their heart.
